I started CrossFit in 2008, & quickly fell in love & got my Level-1 certification in early 2009. I have competed with a team at the regional level in 2010 & 2011, & at the CrossFit Games in 2010, where our team placed 7th overall. Although I love CrossFit as a competitive outlet, I believe & recognize its true value as a health & fitness program for the general population. This stuff will not only change your body, & the way you look at working out- it will change your whole life!

Something most people don’t know about Brandon?

He was a DJ in his late teens & early 20’s.

Advice for someone new to or thinking about starting CrossFit:

Take your time. Make sure to learn the fundamentals, & develop consistent, solid technique, before ramping up your intensity. Choose a CrossFit gym that emphasizes proper form & spends time actually COACHING, not just being a cheerleader. Smile, & have fun!

When I’m not CrossFit-ting, I’m:

Spending time with family & friends, yoga & active recovery, relaxing, & enjoying some good food!
